After trying several urine odor removers, PureAyre is my favorite. PureAyre is an enzymatic cleaner that can remove urine odor as well as other odors. Using vinegar or other concoctions does not deter dogs from marking over urine.
Just because we are unable to smell an odor, it doesn’t mean a dog can’t sniff it out. Humans possess around 6 million scent receptors in our noses. That may sounds like a lot, but compared to dogs it’s hardly significant. Dogs possess up to 300 million scent receptors. Furthermore, dogs have a specialized part of their brain that is specifically used to analyze odor.
PureAyre has a wonderful mild mint scent. It is non-toxic and the only food grade pet odor neutralizer. It may be sprayed directly onto a dog without irritating and there is no need for concern if your dog licks it. It is so safe that it can be sprayed into your mouth and safely ingested. It is safe enough to use around infants as well.
